Success Secrets: getting things done.

Sccess Secrets
Everyone wants to know success secrets. How can I be a success? No one wants to feel like a failure. One of the biggest secrets to success is in getting things done.
This may seem simple to you, but you would be surprised how many people fail at this one simple secret. To be a success, you have to get things done. You actually have to do something.
A Wishbone does not lead to success.
Do you remember breaking the wishbone on the Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey? You and your brother, sister, cousin, friend, would take hold of the wishbone, make a wish and pull. The bone would break and one of you would have the longer piece and you would get your wish. Can you remember how many of those wishes actually came true.
Have you ever bought a lottery ticket? How many jackpots have you won? The point here is not to show you what a loser you are, but to say that wishing, except in a very few cases, does not get us anywhere.
Does that mean that we shouldn’t dream? Absolutely not! It just means that dreaming alone will not get you very far.
A Backbone, combined with a Wishbone will lead to success.
You get some backbone, some action behind that wishbone, that dream then you are on your way to success. Everyone I know, and I know several, that became a success did so because they had a dream and then they went after it. They put one foot in front of the other and worked toward that dream.
Getting things done is the key. Do you have to do everything yourself? No. Many successful people have help from lots of others. You can’t be expected to know or be good at everything. Do what you can and get help with the rest.
What you get done is important and I don’t want to say that it isn’t. However, so many people never get anything done, never work toward their goal that I am going to say that doing something, anything is perhaps more important that doing the right thing. Now if you do a lot of the wrong things it will take you much longer, but if you wait until you know just what to do you will most likely do nothing.
What do you want to do? What success would you like to have in your life? What are you doing toward that goal? Now you have the answer as to where you are in your quest for success.
P.S. Do you know or have a good system for getting things done? Do you know how to be productive?
