Do You Have a Definite Life Purpose?

Life Purpose
What is it that makes you want to get out of bed in the morning? What did you say? Nothing! Oh come on; there must be something! If you want to feel truly alive, you need to have a reason to live. Do you have a definite life purpose?
You may be thinking that I am talking silliness here, but I am not. Many people would not really call it a definite life purpose, but they do have a reason to live. It might be to provide for their family, or to build a business, but they have a reason to live. Do you?
If not, I suggest that you think about it and see if you cannot discover yours. How do you find it? I wrote an article about finding your definite life purpose called How to Find Your Passion with Ease. Essentially, there are two ways that I use and I think they work well.
If I had lots of money.
In the first way, you ask yourself, “If I had lots of money and cost was not a factor, what would I do with my life?” You have to spend some time getting past the lay around mentality before you start thinking about what you would really want to do. What would you want to spend your days doing?
If I could start over
The second way is to pretend that you could start life over as a baby, but retain all your memories and thoughts, how would your life be different? If you could start all over what would you want to do?
Using either of these two methods will give you a good start at discovering what your life purpose, what you really want to do with your life is.
Now that you have at least a clue as to your definite life purpose, what are you doing about it now? If the answer is nothing or very little, then what do you intend to do about it?
If you say nothing, then your life will never change and you will be stuck in the same old rat race every day for the rest of your life. Is that what you want? No, I didn’t think so.
Start right now thinking about how you can best live out your definite life purpose.
P.S. Here is a post with a slightly different view on life purpose. Here is one of mine about overcoming your fear
