Ryan, I agree that most things are bad because we label them as such. I will say that it is hard to remember that having a trash truck smash into your car is not a bad thing at the time! The faster we can move to think positively about situations the faster we are able to leave the “bad” label behind!

  2. Hi Steve,

The cause of all suffering is judgement. If something happens, it happens. When we judge in and label it “bad” we automatically generate negative emotions. We starting thinking that we’re good, why did something bad happen. Judgement, suffering, misery.

Some of the “worst” things to occur in my life were the best things to happen to me. If I had reserved harsh judgement I would have seen that the instance was a vehicle for my advancement.

The universe does not label. It does not punish. It responds to our predominant vibration. We aren’t even aware of many of the deeper thoughts and feelings we put out (deep meditation and introspection reveals these) so why would we ever dream of judging ourselves and our lives? It’s silly, if you reall think about it.

So we cause things to happen and the universe responds. Don’t waste time analyzing or judging. Accept, move on, and realize that it’s happened for you to grow from.

    Great insight.
