Life change, I want to change my life

I want to change my life!
I often hear people say, “I want to change my life.” The problem with this is that they often have no idea what it is they really want to change nor do they want to put out the effort to do so. Life change is possible, but there are some steps.
The first step you have to take for yourself is to decide if you really can do it!
Is life change possible?
You have to believe that life change is possible before anything will ever happen. You cannot change a thing if you don’t believe it will happen. Here’s a great quote about this
“If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.”
Henry Ford
The point here is that we create our reality by the things we believe, think, and do. If you believe you cannot do a thing, you will be right!
Do I really want to change?
I have had so many say to me that they want to change, but when it comes right down to it, they really don’t. They like being the way they are, at least on a subconscious level.
Moving out of your comfort zone in order to change your life can be a little painful. You move away from everything that makes life livable. The problem with that is it is also everything that keeps life the same.
They know how to act and what to do. To change means that they will have to learn a whole new way. This can be very uncomfortable.
You have to understand that there is a cost to change and the cost is leaving behind some of those things that make you feel so comfortable.
How do I begin?
You already have. By asking the question and searching for an answer, you have begun the journey to change. What determines the rate and depth of change from here on out is your willingness to work at it and your desire.
If you are not willing to do what it takes, you will not find change looming on your horizon. Anything in this life takes action and life change is no different. You must take whatever steps it takes.
If you have no desire to change you will never work hard enough to get what you want. You must have a burning desire to change and to make things happen!
Then what?
Then you keep putting one foot in front of the other. There will be good days and not so good days. You will find days where life change seems easy and some where it feels like the hardest thing you have ever done.
If you are saying the phrase, “I want to change my life,” know that it can be done and it can be done by you!
