Create Your Life: Make the Decision!

One of the biggest mistakes people make when thinking about changing their lives, or that is not made, is that of making the decision to do so. I tell people that it is possible to create your life, but you must make the decision to do so before anything will ever happen.

What decision do I make?

If you want to change your life from what it is now to whatever it is you want it to be, you must decide what it is you want and then decide that you will settle for nothing less! The decision, if it is a firm one and an honest one, is the starting point from where everything else flows.

So many people dream and wish that things would change in their lives, but they have a “let it fall on me from the sky” attitude. They never go as far as deciding what that might be and that they will accept nothing less.

I’m not sure what I want.

If you are not sure, then I suggest you take some time to really think about it. Don’t be accepting of other people’s ideas or dreams, get your own. What is it that you want? Don’t be shy or afraid that what you want is silly or foolish. It isn’t!

Let’s say that what you want is more money. Everybody wants more money, don’t they? Instead of wanting a million dollars, you decide that what you want is just fifty thousand dollars a year income. You tell your friends and family that and they start saying you’re crazy. If you really wanted more money, you would wish for a million! Do you hear that? They said you would wish for a million. That’s what most people do. They wish it. You are deciding to get fifty thousand a year more. You are not wishing, you are deciding. There is a big difference.

You decide what you want. It must be your decision and yours alone. No one else can decide for you and have the decision stick.

So I decided. So What?

Once you decide what it is you want, do not let yourself or anyone else take that decision from you. Do not back down one tiny bit. You know what you want and you know that it will happen. When and how it will happen may not be completely worked out, but it will.

Trust that the Infinite will lead you to whatever way is best suited for you to manifest your decision. Know that the way will be made clear to you as you work toward the realization of your goal.

The Infinite Source can give you the wisdom, the courage, and the ability to make whatever it is you want come to reality. I know that sounds pretty bold, but I believe that it is true. Notice I said that you had to work toward your goal. That is also part of the decision.

When you make the decision to get whatever it is you want you must, by default, agree to work toward that goal. If you don’t, go back to the couch and start wishing again.

You can create your life, but it will never come if you never have a clear goal and make the decision to do whatever has to be done to achieve it.
