    Steve,

Are you still alive, or did you get struck by lighting? :)

I think you ask an important question. I’ve observed that those who are successful in changing their life are those who understand their purpose.

If we’re honest, we have to admit that we can’t explore our life’s purpose without asking questions like, “Who am I” and “Why am I here?” These questions inevitably lead to questions about God.

In my experience, I’ve experienced the most fulfillment, and the greatest sense of purpose, when I’ve sought to clarify my life’s purpose and align it with my God-given passions, gifts, and talents, along with my hopes, dreams and goals for the future.

Hey Rich! Still alive and kickin’! You are so right. When we seek to align ourselves with who we are created to be, things go much better and we are happier.

Yes, I was once officially declared a heretic!

Steve, I’ve often thought that God believes in us more than we believe in Him. What I mean is that God, as revealed in the Hebrew/Christian scriptures, created each person with a life full of potential and possibility. But too few people seek to understand who they were created to be, and as a result, they limit themselves and are unable to accomplish their full potential.

I agree. To “sin” means to miss the mark. It doesn’t mean things like to say a dirty word, but to miss the mark of being the reflection or image of God that we were created to be.
