Meditation techniques:the mug meditation

I have been talking about meditation the last few days and thought I would give you my mug meditation.

The video is more entertaining than reading, but here it is in it’s simplest form.

When you are getting stressed, usually in the afternoon, and your mind seems to be on overload, do the mug meditation. Get yourslef a mug of coffee, tea, or hot coco whatever is your favorite and sit back in your chair. Close you eyes and spend just a few moment just feeling the warmth as it seeps through the cup and into your hands.

Next, take a whiff. Smell the aroma of your cup of heaven. Doesn’t it smell wonderful? Then taste it. Ah, doesn’t that taste good? Let your mind just rest in the sensations of the warmth, the smell and the taste.

That’s it! Do this for just a minute and your mind will feel more relaxed and refreshed. It only takes a minute or two, even your boss can’t complain about that!
