Create Your Life with Responsibility

During holidays, we often have lots of interaction with family and

friends. Usually this is good times, but it can be stressful. Personalities clash and words are spoken that offend. As you strive to create your life, it sometimes comes in conflict with the lives of others.

It can be difficult to protect our life and the creating of it and not step on the lives of others. The opposite is true. We sometimes have a hard time creating our lives when others are so willing to tell us what is wrong with us. It takes a discerning mind to learn from others, respect them as individuals and keep our own lives in tact.

I think the first step in this is to know exactly what your intention for your life is. Next you need to understand you values or guiding principles regarding others. Are you concerned about the rights and feelings of others, or is it all about you?

I certainly think you should be conscious of the rights and feelings of others. No life can grow and mature when it is only concerned about itself. However, you have to decide what your values and goals are.

So many people go into it with half a notion as to what that means and they fail. Creating your life is not easy, nor is it quick. It takes work and dedication.
