Goals are great to get you where you want to go. They are a disaster if they become all you see.

The comment I left for yesterday's post I think would apply for this one, and I believe you have kind of said this before during your goal setting posts. Your goals must be able to change with you, and not be so concrete that you structure your life around the goal. I believe goals are there to give us direction not to drive us through life.

My pleasure! Anytime I find someone who speaks with authenticity, I grab it. So many are trying to be the enlightened guru! You say it out plain and I like that!

If you'd like a tool for setting your goals, you can use this web application:

<a href="http://www.gtdagenda.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.Gtdagenda.com</a>

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A Vision Wall (inspiring images attached to yor goals) is available too.
Works also on mobile.

Hey Steve, thanks for the mention! Glad my video got you thinking about this whole goal-setting thing. That issue of attachment is a big factor in the problem with the way traditional goal setting is done - think I need to address that in a post sometime!
