Yep! Risk is a risky business, but it must be a part of our lives! Without some risk, we never grow!

"Playing it safe" is a phrase often used by people who are very risk adverse. My ex-roommate is an extreme example. He is 34, unmarried, and what relationships he has had are brief and usually end up in him being taken advantage of.

Yes Steve, risks are definitely something that everyone needs to take in order to feel fully alive, and I also like how you have a balanced view of risk. Too much risk is reckless, and too little results in getting stuck in life. There is a healthy amount everyone can take in their own lives.

Here's to you in taking a risk in starting this blog and selling your book!

I used to hate it when my old boss said, "Work smarter, not harder!" The guy was really annoying and not a great person, however, I have come to understand what the heck it is that he is saying.

And, especially since I am married now, we have more than enough that can be done than there are hours in a day. Learning prioritize and finding easier ways of doing the same old things is a key that I am learning fast! Glad to hear you're sending out this advice Steve!

I agree. To "sin" means to miss the mark. It doesn't mean things like to say a dirty word, but to miss the mark of being the reflection or image of God that we were created to be.

Steve, I've often thought that God believes in us more than we believe in Him. What I mean is that God, as revealed in the Hebrew/Christian scriptures, created each person with a life full of potential and possibility. But too few people seek to understand who they were created to be, and as a result, they limit themselves and are unable to accomplish their full potential.
